BLT Pizza

I absolutely love pizza. California pizza kitchen is one of my favorite restaurants. I have loved their deliciously thin and creatively adorned pizzas for as long as I can remember. Today I want to share my version of their very popular BLT Pizza.


BLT Pizza


1 Tablespoon olive oil
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 cup crumbled, crisp cooked applewood bacon
2-3 Roma tomatoes, sliced
3 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
3-4 Tablespoons mayonnaise

Avocado, sliced (optional)
  1. Make pizza dough. We only used half of the dough for the pizza and saved the rest.
  2. Brush 1 tablespoon olive oil over  pizza dough. Sprinkle 3/4 mozzarella cheese over oiled dough. Spread 1/4 cup bacon over cheese. Place tomato slices over the bacon. Sprinkle the remaining cheese and bacon.
  3. Transfer pizza to oven. Bake until golden brown and cheese is bubbly at the center of the pizza. Carefully remove pizza from oven. Slice.
  4. Place avocado slices on top of the pizza. Mix mayonnaise with the chopped romaine lettuce. Spread lettuce mixture over pizza. Serve and enjoy.

    Oh this is very easy pizza, I love blt salty yet crunchy; excited to add the toppings to a pizza..
